Families Without Homes After Apartment Fire

Several people are out of their homes after an overnight fire at a Lexington apartment building. It broke out at the Courtside Apartments on Dalton Court, near Eastland Parkway.

Firefighters think the fire started near a stove in one of the units.
Smoke from the fire spread to other units in the building, forcing residents to evacuate.

People spent hours outside, while firefighters made sure the fire was out.

Those living in three of the units weren't allowed to return to their apartments. No one was hurt.
