There are no more Gold's Gyms in Lexington. The health clubs with 17,000 members in the city, will now be known as Urban Active Fitness.
Founder Royce Pulliam says the re-branded Urban Active name will give his company a chance to grow nationwide and consider new concepts.
Urban Active starts out with the 25 Gold's Gyms it had been operating in several states, and expects to have 50 clubs within a few years.
