Murder Victim Laid To Rest

A central Kentucky woman, whose remains were found along the Bluegrass Parkway, was laid to rest today.

Friends and family gathered at a Nicholasville funeral home this afternoon, to remember 25-year-old Amanda Hughes.

A hunter found her remains last week while looking for deer.

Hughes had been missing since February of 2006.

Investigators say she was murdered, but they have not figured out how.

No arrests have been made.
