Not Guilty Plea In "MySpace" Case

A Franklin County man accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl he met online appeared in court today.

22-year-old Gary Smith pleaded not guilty this morning.
Investigators say met the girl on MySpace.com

The Commonwealth's Attorney Office says the two exchanged e-mails and instant messages before meeting for sex.

The crime falls under a new statute that makes it illegal to use a computer to find a victim for a sexual assault.
