New information from a Central Kentucky high school.
A 16-year-old freshman, who police say brought a gun to school in Madison County, has officially been charged.
The sheriff's department tells 27 NEWSFIRST the teen is charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon.
Police say the boy brought a nine millimeter handgun to Madison Southern High School earlier this week.
The sheriff's department tells us they've also learned the teen also brought a switchblade to school.
