Son Accused Of Parents' Murder In Court

He's accused of an unthinkable crime, murdering his own parents in cold blood.

But today, Scott County native Anthony Gray maintained his innocence once again.

The court proceeding in Scott County took less than five minutes this afternoon, as Anthony Gray pleaded not guilty to all counts.

He's facing two murder charges and a tampering with evidence charge in the deaths of his parents Jim and Vivian Gray.

Today in court, Gray's attorney asked the judge to lower his bond, but that request was rejected.

The prosecution argued because of the severity of the crime the bond should stay as is.

The judge agreed and rejected the request. Gray's bond was originally set at $500 thousand dollars, but was raised to 1 million dollars at his last court appearance, and that's where it stands.

Jim and Vivian Gray were found shot to death in their Sadieville home in April.

Police arrested Anthony Gray on October 20th. He's been lodged in the Scott County Jail ever since.
