Several Inmates Injured At Montgomery County Jail

Was it just a fight or something more? Some Inmates in the Montgomery County Jail say they were jumped because of the color of their skin.

The alleged attack took place late Friday night. Rohda Grass of Mount Sterling is a close friend of 19-year-old Terrell Thompson one of three black inmates injured in the alleged attack. She says seventeen white inmates violently attacked Terrell Allen Rudd and Bobby Burns after an exchange of racial slurs.

According to Rohda Grass, all three men were taken to the hospital with a variety of injuries from broken bones to bruising of the brain.

A jail official did confirm to 27 NEWSFIRST that an incident did occur at the jail Friday night, but the official would not release any specifics about what happened.
