Parents Accused Of Striking High School Football Player Pleads Not Guilty

A not guilty plea in Garrard County for the man accused of hitting a high school football player during a game.

Kirby Thompson faces a disorderly conduct charge.

Last month, 27 NEWSFIRST was there as police say Thompson rushed the field during the Garrard County - Wayne County football game, and punched one of the players.

Officials say Thompson, the father of a Wayne County player, was upset about a hard hit.
