Posted: Mon 2:06 PM, Nov 05, 2007

FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (AP) - About 50 support and military police soldiers from Fort Campbell are scheduled to arrive home Tuesday from overseas deployments.

Soldiers from the 887th Engineer Support Company were deployed in Baghdad, where they built checkpoints, security stations and patrol bases. About 60 other soldiers from the unit got home last week.

Members of the 280th Military Police Detachment investigated and recovered more than $10 million in lost and stolen property while overseas. They also helped provide security for top defense officials and other dignitaries in Iraq and the Middle East.

A welcome home ceremony is scheduled for 10:40 a.m. Tuesday.
