The Foothills Community Action Partnership will offer financial aid this winter to low-income households who cannot afford to pay pr icy energy bills.
Eligible participants can apply for an energy assistance voucher now through December 14th. Voucher amount will vary based on number of family members and total monthly income per family.
Last year, the community outreach program was able to help 7,688 people. Funding for the program comes from the U.S. Dept. For Health and Family Services.
When applying, participants must bring a picture ID, proof of income for all family members, the names, birth dates and social security numbers of all household members. You also must bring proof of housing type, as well as a recent heating bill.
