Fletcher Says He's Leaning Toward Work In Private Sector

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Governor Ernie Fletcher says he's considering working in the private sector once he's out of office. But he says he's in no rush to get another job after losing his re-election bid to Steve Beshear.

The well-traveled governor has a resume that includes stints as a fighter pilot, a Baptist minister, engineer, doctor and congressman.

Fletcher is considering a return to medicine, but wouldn't make the move without doing an internship to catch up on what he's missed in the last 10 years.
