Traffic Backup After Five Car Crash

A traffic backup on I -64 after a five car crash that sent six people to the hospital.

It happened in Franklin County near Exit 53 in the westbound lanes.

Witnesses tell 27 NEWSFIRST the six injured, which include two children, a one-year-old and a three-month-old, are not seriously hurt.

Police say it all started when one car hit another near the exit, sparking a chain reaction.

An accident reconstruction team is on the scene.

The interstate was shut down for two and a half hours but is open now.
