Man In Court A Year After Deadly Car Crash

Updated: Wed 8:34 AM, Nov 14, 2007

A 20-year old Lexington man will head to court today, to face a reckless homicide charge.

Police say Joe Shepperson was driving an ice truck, when he ran a red light and slammed into Kathleen Torok's car in October 2006. She died instantly.

Torok was on her way to work at Keeneland, where she was the assistant to the director of racing.

Prosecutors charged Shepperson last month.
