Pizza Delivery Driver Jumped, Robbed

A violent robbery in Lexington early Friday when two men ambushed a pizza delivery driver.

The driver, who works for Mad Mushroom, was making a delivery at the Courtyard Apartments on Red Mile Road.

The robbers hit him in the head with an object, then took off with cash.

Investigators aren't yet sure what type of weapon was used.

The men wore hoodies, and left in a white car.

The delivery driver didn't need medical attention.
