Drought Affects Christmas Tree Selection

It's almost that time of year, when many of us begin the search for the perfect Christmas tree.

But the severe drought over the summer may have you looking harder for your family's tree.

Months of hot and dry weather put strain on all crops across the Bluegrass, leaving some concerned that trees will be far and few between this season.

But, while the Christmas trees felt the effects of the drought, there are still plenty to choose from.

The National Christmas Tree Association says nearly 36 million households in the united states will have a live tree for Christmas.
