Board of Education To Extend Superintendent's Contract

The Fayette County Board of Education says it will approve a contract extension for Superintendent Stu Silberman.

The extension runs through June of 2012, but does not include a salary increase, at Silberman's request.

Silberman has been Fayette County Schools Superintendent since 2004.
Officials say tonight is the earliest possible time the school board could offer him an extension.
