Updated: Thu 7:53 AM, Nov 22, 2007

A Richmond teenager has died after a car slammed into her bike.

Around 4:00pm Wednesday, police say two teenagers tried to cross the Eastern Bypass in front of Wal-Mart, when a car slammed into them.

15-year-old Maggie Cole suffered serious head injuries. She was flown to the University of Kentucky Hospital, where she died around one Thursday morning.

The boy who was on the bike with her only had minor injuries.

Witnesses say the teens rode out in front of the car. No charges have been filed against the 87 year old driver, Peter Lovino. Police say they are still investigating.
