Black Friday Shoppers Crowd Kentucky Stores

The madness is underway as shopper clogged stores across Kentucky on Black Friday.

Bargain hunters lined up across Kentucky, staking out holiday deals. Some were there as early as 11 a.m. Thanksgiving morning. 27NEWSFIRST caught up with a crowd braving the cold outside Best Buy.

For many the shopping frenzy started early. Some Lexington stores offered doorbuster deals on Thanksgiving day.

Black Friday can account for 40 percent of a Merchant's earnings, but it's not the busiest shopping day of the year. That day usually falls the Saturday before Christmas.
