Principal Pleads Not Guilty To Prostitution Charges

Updated: Tue 4:52 PM, Nov 27, 2007

A Kentucky high school principal facing prostitution charges says he's not guilty.

Dr. Paul Schum's attorney entered that plea on his behalf today in a Jefferson County courtroom.

Louisville police cited Schum last month after stopping him in alley dressed as a woman.

Schum said he was going to a costume party. Police say he was loitering for prostitution.

Schum is principal at Bethlehem High School in Bardstown. He's now on personal leave.
