Man Killed In Trench Collapse Is Identified

MIDDLESBORO, Ky. (AP) - Authorities in Middlesboro have released the name of worker killed in a trench collapse.

He was 32-year-old Joe Shepherd from London, Kentucky.

His funeral was conducted yesterday.

Police say Shepherd was working on a sewer line extension in adeep trench when an earthen wall collapsed the day before Thanksgiving.
