A deadly crash on the interstate in Scott County.
It happened at the 126 mile maker on I-75. Officials say the crash has claimed the life of an Ohio woman.
The accident had traffic tied up for hours after an SUV and tractor-trailer collided.
At this time, police believe the accident was caused when both vehicles were trying to merge into the same lane.
The collision cause the SUV to roll multiple times along the highway. The driver died as a result of the impact.
Scott County Coroner John Goble has identified the crash victim as 74-year old Mary Lou Butcher of Dayton, Ohio. He says speed and alcohol were not factors, however, she was not wearing a seat belt.
