Police are searching for a man who robbed a Lexington bank this afternoon.

Police say a man robbed the National City Bank branch on Sir Barton Way.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30's, wearing a black hat with gold writing, dark glasses and a black turtleneck. He's six feet tall with a thin build, weighing 160-170 lbs.

Police say he was not armed, and got away with an undisclosed amount of money in a manila envelope.

Officials tell 27 NEWSFIRST that witnesses in the area say the suspect may have gotten away in small silver-colored four-door passenger car.
