Police in Rockcastle County are looking for a man who robbed a hotel clerk Wednesday night.

It happened just after 10 o'clock at the Days Inn on U.S. 25, just off Exit 62.

Police say a man pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money, and threatened the clerk if he didn't get what he asked for.

The clerk was made to lie down on the floor, and was kicked as the robber left with the money.

Police say the suspect was wearing a hooded shirt with a mask, blue jeans and tennis shoes.

He was carrying a back pack and was seen leaving in a small dark colored 4-door car.

The desk clerk did not suffer any serious injuries.
