Child's Quick Thinking Saved Mother's Life

A 5 year old Harrison County girl is being called a hero for helping emergency crews make it to her home just in time to save her mother.

Shana Hughes says she taught her little girl how to call 911 in an emergency and those lessons paid off when Hughes had a seizure. Skyler was able to give emergency dispatchers her name, address, and all the information they needed to get her mother the care she needed.

First responders say Skyler did fantastic work and Hughes says her daughter's actions are proof that all parents should take time out to show their kids what to do in emergency situations.
