The Tuttle family spent days putting up lights and Christmas decorations around their home in the Meadowthorpe subdivision in Lexington, but last week vandals damaged much of their display.

A snow globe and snow man, each costing about one hundred dollars a piece, were destroyed, but the wooden Santa and sleigh they broke was worth much more. Mary Tuttle tells 27 NEWSFIRST that her sister made the decoration before she passed away.

The Tuttle's have won best Christmas display, a couple years in a row donating prize money to the Animal Humane Society. They say they are no longer a part of this years competition and say this is the fourth time their display has been vandalized in the past three years.
