Neighbors in one central Kentucky community say they can't believe what police reportedly found inside a garage.

It's not the possible meth lab that has people in the Lincoln County community of Hustonville so concerned.

It's another chemical, Mercury, that's even more dangerous. Police say it was being kept in the garage for fun.

Kentucky State Police arrested 38-year-old Brian Shelton Sunday morning.

Police say he was cooking meth at a garage next to his home on Fairlane Drive in Hustonville.

Police also say they found 15 pounds of mercury there.

Shelton now faces several drug-related charges, all felonies.

Shelton is still in the Lincoln County Jail. He declined 27 NEWSFIRST's request for an interview.
