Statue Found, Two Arrested In Apparent Prank

Police have found an expensive statue that was stolen from a Central Kentucky park.

The bronze statue of a little girl went missing from a new display symbolizing Berea's history.

The theft was caught on video by a Peoples Bank security camera.

Berea Police say the surveillance pictures helped them receive information that led to the arrests of James "Tony" Adams, 23, and Joshua Arnold, 20, both of Berea.

Police say Adams and Arnold stole the statue as a prank then got scared, so they dumped the statue at a remote location in Garrard County.

The statue received minor damage and is back with the City Parks Department.
