A deadly week for Ft. Campbell soldiers serving in Iraq. Army officials say Sgt. Eric Hernandez, Capt. Adam Snyder, and Private DeWayne White were killed in a roadside bombing.
While Capt. Adam Snyder is from Florida, some of his family members live in the Bluegrass.
Now instead of waiting for Adam's next email from Iraq, the Burchfields will head south from Lexington to attend their loved one's funeral.
Capt. Snyder graduated from Westpoint in 2005 and almost immediately he was deployed to Iraq. He was serving his second tour of duty, but his family tells us he never complained about putting his life at risk everyday. They say Adam just wanted to make life better for the Iraqi people. Capt. Synder will be buried with full military honors in his home state of Florida.
