Jury Recommends 5 Years In Baby Murder Trial

A Lexington jury has convicted a woman of reckless homicide in the death of a 22-month-old girl. They recommend a five year sentence.

Sarah Taylor was charged with murder in the death of Madison Cundiff. Taylor claims the toddler fell down the stairs while she was babysitting.

The medical examiner found the child's death was from shaken
baby syndrome.

The jury returned the guilty verdict in about three hours.

The jury recommended she serve five years behind bars for the crime.
