An exit ramp at a busy Lexington intersection will close for several days later this week, as part of an ongoing construction project.
Kentucky Department of Highways officials say the ramp from the inner loop of New Circle Road to Harrodsburg Road will be closed from 7 p.m. Thursday, until 6 a.m. Monday.
Officials say the closure is necessary for work to continue on the Double Crossover Diamond Interchange project that began last week at New Circle Road and Harrodsburg Road. The project is scheduled to be finished in November.
Officials suggest drivers use Man O' War Boulevard, between Nicholasville and Versailles Roads, as an alternate route while the ramp is closed.
