Some storms are possible during the morning and afternoon on Tuesday. Damaging winds and flooding will be the main threats. With an already soaked ground, expect strong winds to easily bring down some trees.
Lexington Police have released surveillance pictures taken of some suspects, believed to be behind a series of thefts from vending machines and newspaper boxes around the city.
Police say the thefts have happened in recent weeks. Police think four people are behind the thefts.
Vending machines on Nicholasville Road, Winchester Road, Hartland Parkway, East New Circle Road, Buena Vista Road, Boston Road, West Lowry Lane, Ruccio Way, and Newtown Court were damaged.
Police say newspaper boxes on Winchester Road, Palumbo Drive, Richmond Road, Euclid Avenue, Leestown Road, North Broadway, and Buena Vista Road were stolen.
Anyone with information about these thefts is asked to call the Commercial Burglary Unit of Lexington Police at 859-258-3700.
