A wild scene across three Central Kentucky counties, after a man leads police on a high speed chase.

The chase started after police in Madison County say they tried to pull Stephen Hall over during a traffic stop. But they say Hall took off, reaching speeds of over 100 miles per hour through Fayette County, and into Clark County.

The chase ended when police say Hall turned the wrong way onto
I-64, drove across the median to avoid traffic, and drove the wrong way up an exit ramp at the Mountain Parkway. An oncoming semi-truck blocked the driver in. That's when the suspect took off on foot, and jumped off a nearby bridge into a wooded area. Police soon caught up with him, and placed him under arrest.

Hall now faces drug charges and wanton endangerment charges.
Authorities say Hall's girlfriend, Rachel Farmer, was also in the car during the chase. She was arrested on drug charges.

Police say when they asked the suspect why he ran, he said he thought there was a warrant out for him from another state. After being taken to Clark Regional Hospital to be checked out Hall was taken to the Clark County Jail.
