Guilty Pleas From Statue Thieves

Guilty pleas were entered on Friday by two Madison County men accused of stealing a statue from a park in Berea.

James "Tony" Adams and Joshua Arnold, who were originally charged with felony theft, pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of criminal mischief.

They were sentenced to 90 days in jail, which were conditionally discharged if they have no more further offenses. They also have to pay a fine and perform 100hours of community service.

The pair was caught on a surveillance camera, carrying away the statue which was later found in Garrard County.
