Snow line is beginning to crash into parts of central Kentucky. The rate of snow will pick-up this evening and into the overnight. Some of these snow bands could produce 1"-2" per hour at times.
A woman is recovering from a violent attack, after she was stabbed while walking down the street.
Police say the 24-year-old Lindsey Metts was near Smitty Mart in Frankfort when a van pulled up behind her and several men jumped out and robbed her.
Kim Smith, an employee at Smitty Mart, was there when Metts came into the store, bleeding from the stomach.
Smith talked to 27 NEWSFIRST, and said Metts told her that several men got out of a blue van and stabbed her, after taking her money.
Police indicate they may know who is responsible for the crime. So far, no arrests have been made.
The victim is recovering at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
