Man Sentenced To 5 Years For Wife's Murder

It's five years in prison for a Kentucky man who admitted to killing his wife.

A Powell County judge sentenced Larry Meadows today, for shooting his wife in their Powell County home back in 2005.

Despite the short time he'll spend in prison, the victim's family says they received justice.

Meadows is well known in the Powell County community, where he ran a golf course and was the head of the historical society.
