Lots of people are planning to travel to Nashville to see the Wildcats play in the Music City Bowl on New Year's Eve Now, event organizers are warning fans they may need to plan ahead when it comes to parking.
Organizers say parking at LP Field is already sold out for game day and there will be no additional tickets available for fans to park.
Instead, they have the following suggestions:
1.) The Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge and the Woodland Street bridge provides easy walking access to the game from downtown parking garages/surface lots. Downtown may be accessed via the Second Avenue, Demonbruen Street, Broadway and Church Street exits from the surrounding highways.
2.) Satellite parking at Greer Stadium (534 Chestnut Street south of downtown). The cost is $7 per parking space. The Grayline Shuttle* fee is $10 round trip and will run 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., and from the end of the game until approximately 45 minutes after the game. (No shuttles will run during the game).
3.) A shuttle* from the Renaissance Hotel/Convention Center Entrance on Commerce St. between Sixth and Seventh Avenue for $10. The shuttle will run from 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., and from the end of the game until approximately 45 minutes after the game. (No shuttles will run during the game).
4.) RV Satellite parking is available at Opryland KOA Kampgrounds - Call (615) 889-0282 for details. No Grayline Shuttle is available.
