Some injuries on the UK football team could effect the team's performance in the Music City Bowl.
Coach Rich Brooks announced in practice on Thursday afternoon that key players have injuries that will probably keep them out of the game.
Running back Derrick Locke is out for the game. He emerged as the most dependable back for the Wildcats late in the season and led UK with 5 touchdowns. He has a fractured rib.
Paul Warford, a starting corner back for 10 of the 12 games has been battling injuries this year. He's doubtful for the Bowl game after falling earlier in the week and hurting his shoulder.
The most serious blow could be to Keenan Burton, one of the leaders on the team. He has swelling in the knee, but Brooks says he is doubtful he'll be well enough to play in the Music City Bowl.
