Robber Cleans Out Register At Laundromat

Lexington police are on the lookout for a bold robber who hit a laundry mat. It happened Thursday afternoon at the Bryan Avenue Coin Laundry.

Witnesses say the man came in nonchalantly and asked the clerk for a drink. When the clerk walked to the back of the store, police say the robber pulled a gun on her, took money, and ran out.

Police say they don't have a good description of the suspect, but people living nearby say they saw the man walking his dog earlier in the day.
