They asked for help after thieves broke in and stole all the toys and food for their charity. Now, a Lexington bikers club says an outpouring of donations has brought a brighter Christmas to many in need.
The Bopsters Motorcycle Club came roaring up to Shiners Hospital on Saturday, unloading two times more toys than they had before this week's burglary.
The Bopsters tell 27 NEWSFIRST many of the toys donated after the burglary were from disadvantaged people, barely able to afford gifts for their own families.
The bikers also delivered gift baskets with turkeys in them to needy families in the area.
Police arrested two brothers, earlier in the week, for stealing nearly $2000 worth of donations from the Bopsters.
