Volunteers Reach Out To Lexington's Homeless

Posted: Tue 4:53 PM, Dec 25, 2007

Dozens of volunteers are taking time out today to bring a Christmas feast to many here in Lexington.

The holidays will be a little brighter this year for Lexington's homeless.

More than 75 volunteers showed up to serve hot meals to those in need on Christmas Day.

The dinner is held at Broadway Christian Church. It's sponsored by Lexington Rescue Mission, who is an interdenominational Christian ministry that works to meet the needs of the city's poor and homeless.
