Suspects In Violent Gas Station Robbery Answer to Judge

Updated: Thu 1:04 PM, Dec 27, 2007

Three men charged in a violent robbery at a Georgetown gas station, answered to a judge Thursday.

Charles Davis, Dijon Hollinger and Isaiah Lemar plead not guilty at their arraignment. Police say the three men robbed the Shell station on US 25 early Christmas morning.

The clerk, Martin Stephens, was shot in the leg during the holdup. Stephens is in crutches and the bullet still lodged in his leg.

Investigators aren’t saying if the three men are responsible for two other recent robberies at Shell Stations in Georgetown, but do say there are similarities.

Shots were also fired in the others robberies.

All men are charged with robbery. Lemar is also charged with first-degree assault because police say he's the one who shot the clerk.
