A volunteer Lincoln County firefighter is back on the job after being injured in a late Thursday night fire.

Firefighter Kasey Walls fell through the floor while fighting the fire at a home on Upper Railroad Street in the Moreland Community of Lincoln County.

Amazingly, Walls only cut his hand in the fall.

He went to the hospital, where he got stitches, then came back to fight the fire.

The home is a two-story log cabin.

The family living inside the home wasn't there at the time of the fire.

One of their relatives drove by the home, noticed the fire and called 911.

Firefighters say the inside of the home is gutted.
