Man Killed In ATV Crash In Eastern Kentucky

SANDY HOOK, Ky. (AP) - State police say a 26-year-old man has died in an all-terrain vehicle crash in eastern Kentucky.

Jordon Whitley was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash in Elliott County Friday morning just after 4 a.m. EST. Whitley was traveling on Kentucky 719 about a mile north of the Morgan County line when he crashed.

State police say Whitley's Suzuki ATV went off the roadway and struck a parked vehicle.

He lived in Sandy Hook.

State police said alcohol was thought to be a factor in Whitley's death.
