Nicholasville Police Arrest Two Men For Vehicle Break-Ins

Nicholasville police arrest two men for a car break-ins at a motel after they were chased down by an observant guest.

Police say a man staying at the Super 8 Motel saw two men breaking into his truck. They say he chased after them and caught one man, holding him until police arrived.

Police say they found the second suspect in the area a few minutes later, still in possession of some of the stolen property.

Douglas "Bit" Bruner has been charged with Theft By Unlawful Taking, Theft Of Medication, Receiving Stolen Property and 2nd Degree Criminal Mischief.

Jeffrey "Bud" Collier has been charged with Theft By Unlawful Taking, Receiving stolen Property, Possession Of Marijuana and Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia.

There have been several vehicle break-ins in Nicholasville over the past few weeks. No word yet on whether or not Collier and Bruner will face additional charges.
