Lexington police are investigating the city's first murder of the year.
Police were called to the 1900 block of Cambridge drive at 5:58pm Wednesday.
That's when they found a Hispanic man who'd been shot several times in the abdomen.
The victim was transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center where he died a short time later.
Investigators are asking for help from the public in figuring out the victim's name.
Police have not named any suspects in the case.
