Water Pipes Freeze, Burst At Lexington Retirement Home

Brutally cold temperatures caused the sprinkler pipes to burst at the Tower Plaza retirement home in Lexington early Friday.

Water came rushing down in one stairwell and in one hallway.

No water got inside the residents' rooms and no one has been displaced.

After cleaning up the water, crews are now working to repair Tower Plaza's alarm and sprinkler system.
