BOWLING GREEN, KY -- Kentucky State Police are investigating the death of a Warren County man killed Friday evening in a motorcycle mishap near Bowling Green.

The victim has been identified as 49-year old Tony Daniel of Rockfield, Ky. Police report that Daniel was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. KSP report no other vehicle was involved in the crash.

A KSP news release says Daniel was riding his motorcycle southbound on Rockfield-Browning Road just before 7 p.m. when he apparently lost control, left the edge of the roadway and ended up in a ditch.

Police say Daniel was transproted to the Medical Center in Bowling Green where he was pronounced dead by emergency room staff.

Trooper Chad Smith investigated the mishap and continues the inestigation. Trooper Derek Grant assisted at the accident scene.

No report on whether speed, alcohol or weather were factors in the accident.
