Two Lexington police officers have been released from the hospital after their cruisers collided at a busy intersection.
The wreck happened late Tuesday morning at the intersection of Versailles Road and Red Mile Road.
Police say both cruisers were responding to a foot pursuit happening near downtown.
We're told both cars did have lights and sirens on at the time of the crash.
Police say Officer Michael Seabolt was traveling eastbound on Versailles Road and Sgt. David Marcum was headed north on Red Mile towards Forbes Road when they crashed.
Both Seabolt and Marcum were taken to UK Medical Center, from where they were released Tuesday night.
