Fire crews spent much of the day on Tuesday, battling a forest fire in southern Madison County.
A tree fell into some power lines in the Dreyfus community at around nine in the morning, sparking the flames. That's in the Daniel Boone National Forest.
About 20 firefighters from five different departments were called in to flight the fire. Gusty winds were making it tough to control the flames.
Firefighters even used a bulldozer at one point to get rid of brush that was fueling the flames.
There are some homes nearby, but fire officials say they weren't in danger.
