Severe Weather Expected On Tuesday Night

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - The tornado watch in Kentucky has been
expanded to cover more than 40 counties in the central and western
part of the state.
The eight Kentucky counties nearest the Mississippi River were
placed on a watch status by the National Weather Service earlier.
The watch is in effect until 8 p.m., EST, and means that conditions are right for tornadoes to form.
The area under tornado watch now extends from western Kentucky to Trimble, Jefferson, Hart and Simpson counties at the eastern edge.
A tornado was reported blowing across eastern Arkansas Tuesday, a day after a freak cluster of January twisters sprung up in the Midwest.
